TKMF Productions presents:
PRISM: Preparing Indigenous Live Event Professionals, presented by TD Bank Group
TKMF Productions is proud to mentor the next generation of Indigenous Arts Workers.
This mentorship program is designed to uplift emerging Indigenous arts and culture workers by providing hands-on training in event and production management. Participants will gain the essential tools, workflows, and confidence needed to plan, manage, and deliver professional events — in community and in industry settings. By the end of the six-week mentorship, participants will have a complete set of planning documents ready to use for their own events or future production roles.
This program is made possible through the support of TD Bank Group Ready Commitment, Canada Council for the Arts, The Department of Canadian Heritage, Ontario Arts Council and Ontario Creates
Each participant will receive a $1,500 stipend upon successful completion of the program.
Applications are open to all who identify as Indigenous and are residents of Canada.
Program Structure
Each weekly session includes:
Welcome + cultural grounding
Facilitated learning led by Candace Scott-Moore
Group dialogue, Q&A + knowledge sharing
Weekly homework assignment to build a personal event plan + production toolkit
Participants are expected to attend all sessions and complete assigned exercises.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will leave the program with:
A complete event planning toolkit
Experience building schedules, budgets, and production documents
Understanding of advancing artists, hospitality, and travel coordination
Knowledge of vendors, venue relationships, and safety requirements
Networking and professional development skills
A polished resume/CV for production and arts roles

Application Process
There is no fee to participate, however full participation and attendance to all sessions is mandatory. Participants who are not able to attend all sessions should not apply.
The Program will take place from Tuesday, September 15 and Tuesday, October 27, 2026.
Sessions will take place online, on Zoom, between 4pm and 6:00pm. The final session takes place in Toronto, October 27.
Participants will be required to attend an in-person practicum in Toronto October 25-28. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered by TKMF.
